Joe has always been captivated by the fantastic since he was a little child when he read the classic book _How Droofus the Dragon Lost His Head_. Then, in 1985 he stumbled across the Dungeons & Dragons Red Box in a mall bookstore and discovered the world of tabletop RPGs. Since then he has devoured countless different games and systems.
Later, Joe’s faith would be firmly tested when an entire year passed in which every fortune cookie he cracked open gave forth only a blank strip of paper. Truly fate had abandoned him. Little is known about the next few years of his life, but much speculation has been made about where he was and what he was doing.
Today, once again blessed with clear fortunes, Joe divides his time between taking care of the computer systems at a small company, playing and running RPGs, and getting outside for some hiking and camping.
